A very long story, told short:  we knew Jim from 45 years ago and hooked up by one of those "small world" miracles.

Jim, in addition to being a true joy to be around and teach, was able to apply newfound skills in a very effective manner . . . particularly slaughtering the alpine lake trout.

(Not bad on a horse, either.)
