Course Rod Outfits 

Students registering for a "Fly Fishing Education Vacation" Course have 2 tuition/rate options:

• "Tuition" . . . this tuition option/rate is selected by those students who wish to:
  • bring their own fly rod outfit to use during the course (fly rod, reel, line, backing & leader), or . . .
  • use our "course rod"; these are generally 8 1/2', 5 weight, 4 piece graphite rods that are used by our students during their course; there is no additional charge for using this equipment

• "Tuition with Rod Outfit"  . . . this tuition option/rate is selected by those students who:
  • want a new rod outfit to use while learning how to fly fish at the course
  • by selecting this feature, the School will have the rod outfit awaiting the arrival of the student at their course destination
  • The rod outfit is included in the rate and is paid for with the deposit made to confirm the registration.  A portion of the cost is also included in the final balance due for the course which is payable 30 days prior to course start date.  In the event of cancellation, there is no obligation for the student regarding the rod outfit.

Described below are the rod outfits we have selected as the best configuration for the respective courses.  All rod outfits are backed by the full Manufacturer's Warranty.  All students of The School of FlyFishing receive a 10% discount from our regular retail prices.  The student may contact us at any time if they wish to discuss purchasing a rod/outfit or to substitute other than those depicted below.  We are dealers for Redington, Sage and Scientific Anglers.  See our Tackle Shop for the complete listing.
