The School of FlyFishing "Learn
How To Fly Fish" Online
Course offers a complementary series of 10 interrelated courses. The
courses are available on a continuing basis on the Internet
to registered students. Each
course is designed to teach basic fundamentals that are necessary to begin
participating in the rewarding sport of fly fishing. Students are
able to acquire knowledge that otherwise might take 10 years
to learn. The "Learn How To Fly Fish" Online Courses are an educational product of The School of FlyFishing. The curriculum is designed by a Father/Daughter team with a combined 60 year's experience in fly fishing. Each course is geared to provide beginning to intermediate level instruction in a specific element or discipline of the sport. The curriculum can be learned by young and old alike. There are no textbooks required (though ours is available.) Students can come and go to "class" when they please. Online Courses are designed to complement our Outdoor/Field Studies program. By taking the Online, Self-study courses, students gain the advantage of learning basic skills so that more emphasis can be given to casting and presentation/fishing technique at their Outdoor sessions. In the privacy of your home or office, you will learn principles that will give you a confident head start in this fun and very productive way of catching fish.
