UNL Fly Fishing Club . . . a Registered Student Organization

In conjunction with the UNL FlyFishing Course, yet separate and distinct, the UNL Fly Fishing Club is open to the public.  Formed in 2006, the "RSO" is designed for anyone interested in fly fishing.  It is open to all UNL students and faculty.  Many non-students are also involved and provide substantial support on a community and statewide basis to promote the activities of the Club.

The goals of the Club are simple: promote fly fishing at the University and in the State.  FlyFishing education, knowledge and skill gain are a key objective.  Among the varied Club activities will be:

  • Rod building
  • Equipment savings
  • Casting clinics

  • Seminars and guest speakers
  • Fly tying
  • Entomology

Current annual calendar membership dues are $10.  If you would like to participate by joining the Club or are interested in being on our mailing list, please fill out and submit the form below.  We will keep you advised of Club activities, events, etc. by email only.  Your information will not be used or given out for any other purpose.
